this is an appetizer that can be has hot as you choose,... I will change the cilantro to fresh Italian parsley... because I like that flavor better.... you can also change the lime butter to lemon butter.. these make a nice appetizer. Read more ... Ingredients:
50 1-inch clams |
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped |
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped |
1/2 cup white wine |
1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, chopped (or to taste) |
lime butter |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup lime juice |
preparation |
melt butter and add lime juice. serve with spicy clams. |
Directions:
1. Rinse clams and drain. In large saute pan with lid, bring remaining ingredients to a boil. Add clams and cover. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until clams open. Serve with Lime Butter. |
