Ingredients:
450 g squid rings
3 tablespoons red pepper flakes
4 tablespoons tomato paste
3 garlic cloves, chopped (or more to taste)
1 tbsp parsley
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 dash salt
1 dash black pepper
Directions:
1. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a wok or shallow saute pan.
2. Add chopped garlic to the oil and cook until the garlic begins to become translucent or browns up a little.
3. Add the calamari.
4. Add tomato paste, red pepper, salt, pepper,
5. Saute on medium heat for 8 minutes.
6. Add a handful of italian parsley.
7. Saute on medium heat for 2 more minutes.
8. Serve with some additional parsley over pasta.
