Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cider vinegar |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon sugar |
2 cloves garlic, chopped |
1 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated |
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper |
1 large head green cabbage (about 3 lb.), cored and finely shredded |
2 carrots, grated |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine cider vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, chopped garlic, grated ginger and crushed red pepper in a large bowl. Stir well until sugar has dissolved. 2. Pile shredded cabbage and grated carrots on top of dressing and toss until blended. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve. |
