Spicy Beans With Turkey Sausage

This is an easy and tasty slow-cooker recipe that was in the March 2009 issue of Reader's Digest. It was great to come home to such a hearty meal.
Ingredients:
1 lb smoked turkey sausage, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 1/2 cups frozen corn
1 1/2 cups salsa
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped (note, i used some frozen season blend instead of the green pepper and onions, it's quick and easy to)
1/2-1 cup water (enough to fill cooker at least halfway)
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Directions:
1. In 5-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours or until meat is tender. Stir before serving.
