I just picked up a holiday cookbooklet at Lowe's and this recipe was in it.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 large egg
1 cup raisins
4 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and salt in small bowl, set aside. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add molasses and sgg; beat well. Beat in raisins. Gradually add in flour mixture on low speed just until incorporated. Drop dough by tbsp on ungreased sheet 2 apart. Flatten slightly. Bake 12-14 minutes till set. Cool on sheets 1 minute then transfer to wire rack and cool completley. Microwave chocolate in a heavy resealable plastic bag at high for 30 seconds. Turn bag over; heat another 30-40 seconds till almost melted. Knead the bag with hands to melt remaining chocolate. Cut a 1/8 corner off one end of bag. Drizzle chocolate on cooled cookies. let stand 20 minutes.
