Spiced Pumpkin Tiramisu

Sinfully rich pumpkin tiramisu with a little kick of spice. From The Ultimate Italian
Ingredients:
1 (10 3/4 oz) loaf pound cake or ladyfingers, if you prefer
2 tbl frangelico
2 c whipping cream
1 (8 oz.) container marscapone cheese
1/2 c canned pure pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp orange extract or grand marnier or juic
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg or mace
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
grated whole nutmeg or cinnamon (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Cut pound cake into sixteen 1/2'' thick slices
2. Arrange half of the slices in the bottom of a 2 quart baking dish
3. Brush slices with 1 Tbl of the Frangelico; set aside
4. In a large bowl, beat whippining cream until soft peaks form; set aside
5. In another large bowl, combine marscapone cheese, pumpkin spices and extract. Beat on medium until combined
6. Fold in half of the whipped cream
7. spread half of the pumpkin mixture over the cake layer in dish
8. Top with remaining cake slices; brush with Frangelico
9. Spread with remaining pumpkin mixture and then the whipped cream over all layers in the dish (dish will be very full)
10. Cover and chill for 4 to 24 hours
11. To serve sprinkle with grated nutmeg or cinnamon
