Spiced Honey Almonds

Ingredients:
1/4 cup(s) honey
3/4 teaspoon(s) crushed red pepper flakes
3 cup(s) almonds
3 tablespoon(s) sugar
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) chili powder
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 325.
2. Warm honey and crushed red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat for 1 minute.
3. Stir in almonds.
4. Remove from heat and spread almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
5. Bake for 18 minutes; cool 2-3 minutes. (Honey will be slightly sticky)
6. Combine sugar, salt and chili powder in a medium bowl.
7. Place almonds in same bowl with sugar mixture; toss gently.
8. Spread coated nuts on parchment or wax paper to cool completely.
9. Store in airtight container until ready to use.
10. Yields 20 nuts per serving.
11. NOTE: Intensify the flavor and add extra crunch by toasting them first.
