Ingredients:
10 pounds cubes of beef
2 cups cider vinegar
1 cup lime or lemon juice
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup molasses
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 large onion,sliced
1 cup raisins
Directions:
1. Brown cubes of beef.
2. Place in heavy Dutch Oven with all that is called for.
3. Cook over low heat until tender,about 2 to 2-1/2 hours.
4. Serve over cornmeal mush,or rice,or potatoes
5. Note: With the vinegar and lemon ,and pineapple juice the meat will be tender pretty quickly.
