Spiced Banana Bread

Adapted this from another banana bread recipe I found here (#1387). Added a lot of the spices from my pumpkin pie that I like and added chocolate chips for the kids.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger, ground
1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon spiced rum
1 teaspoon coffee, ground
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced
4 -5 bananas, slightly mashed (about 2 1/2 cups)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Grease 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
3. mix flour, baking powder, baking soda,
4. salt, spices, coffee and lemon zest together and set aside.
5. beat butter in large mixing bowl until soft and creamy.
6. beat in sugar
7. add eggs, vanilla and rum and beat until blended.
8. add flour mix and beat until well blended.
9. fold in mashed bananas, apple, and chocolate chips.
10. pour into prepared pan.
11. bake in center of oven for 1 hour 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
12. cool in pan 10 minutes.
13. invert from pan and cool completely on rack.
