Special Occasion Stuffed Chicken

This a recipe that I used to make for showers, small weddings and special occasions when I worked at a small Country Club back in the early 70's . It was often asked for when we had ladies golf event. I would make smaller version of this recipe for those events
Ingredients:
6 large boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup mushroom, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup light cream
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup swiss cheese, shredded
6 ounces lean baked ham, 1 ounce slices
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup white wine
4 ounces sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. Filling:.
2. Saute' minced mushrooms in butter until cooked
3. Add flour cook 4 minutes stirring often.
4. Stir in cream cook until thick.
5. Add cheeses , stir until melted.
6. Remove from heat turn into sheet pan.
7. Chill for 1 hour.
8. Pound breast flat, season with salt and pepper.
9. Lay 1 slice of ham on breast.
10. Cut chilled mushroom filling into 6 pieces.
11. Place one piece filling on top of ham on each breast.
12. Roll breast, folding all edges in to seal.
13. Place in casserole dish, sprayed with buttered flavored pan coating.
14. Bake for 1/2 hour at 375°F, covered.
15. Sauce : Mix cream of chicken soup, mushroom and white wine together.
16. Pour over chicken.
17. Continue to bake for 40 minutes longer uncovered.
