An easy soup from Spain.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup cooked ham, diced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 dash saffron or 1 dash turmeric
1 tablespoon olive oil
10 1/2 ounces condensed french onion soup
11 ounces tomato rice soup
16 ounces water
1 lb shrimp
1 cup frozen peas
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 egg, hard boiled, chopped
Directions:
1. Brown ham in oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add paprika and saffron. Add remaining ingredients, except egg, and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with egg.
