Spanish Rice With Chicken

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. At high heat add canola oil to a large pot.
  2. Add white rice, onion, and garlic; brown.
  3. Bring to a medium heat.
  4. Carefully add tomato sauce and stir quickly until the sauce thickens.
  5. Pour in the 6 cups of water and stir.
  6. Add cumin and salt to taste.
  7. Add chicken and bring to a boil.
  8. Place a lid on pot an bring heat to a low heat.
  9. Simmer until rice is tender and chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  10. Serve with flour tortillas.
