Spaghetti Pie

This recipe puts a spin on spaghetti. Makes a great one dish meal that everyone seems to enjoy.
Ingredients:
3 cups of cooked spaghetti-can use angel hair or thin spaghetti (6 oz uncooked)
2 tbsp butter
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
2 eggs well beaten
1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese (your preference)
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1/2 cup onions (cooked with beef)
2 cups of spaghetti sauce (your choice)
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
Directions:
1. Cook pasta and drain.
2. Brown beef and onions together, then drain.
3. Melt butter and mix with parmesan and eggs and cheese. Mix gently into pasta and pour mixture into a deep dish pie plate.
4. Mix beef & onion mixture with spaghetti sauce and pour over pasta mixture in pie plate.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, pull pie out of oven and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top of the pie. Put back into oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
6. Let set for 5 minutes prior to cutting into 8 slices and serving. Add a salad for a complete meal!!
7. NOTE: You can add green peppers to the beef if so desired.
