Spaghetti Meat Sauce (Freezable)

Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/4 cup salad oil
1 lb ground beef
1 lb chopped tomato
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 large green pepper, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Directions:
1. Saute onion and garlic in hot oil. Add meat and cook until browned.
2. Add remaining ingredients; simmer slowly for about 1 hour.
3. Cool quickly; freeze in ice cube trays. When frozen, transfer to freezer container.
4. To serve, heat as many cubes as needed over low heat. Spoon over spaghetti and.
