From a local extension cookbook
Ingredients:
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/3 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cups bread flour
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Add sugar, salt, cheese, seasoning, oil and flour.
3. Stir & add additional flour as needed to form a soft dough.
4. Turn onto a floured surface & knead until smooth & elastic.
5. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease all sides of dough.
6. Cover & let rise until double.
7. Punch down and turn onto floured surface.
8. Shape into loaf & place in a greased 5x9x3 loaf pan.
9. Cover & let rise until double.
10. Bake 350 (preheated) for 35-40 minutes.
11. Cooking time includes the rising of the dough.
