SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE DATED 1969 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Van Meter Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1992.
Ingredients:
9” pie crust
1 cup raisins
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell then bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
2. Cool completely then serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
