Ingredients:
1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs, separated
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups flour
1/2 pint sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well before adding the next.
3. Mix baking soda and flour together, and alternate adding flour mixture and sour cream.
4. Add vanilla.
5. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, and fold into batter.
6. Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
