Sour Cream Pancakes

Yummy variation on regular pancakes.
Ingredients:
3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons butter, softened
Directions:
1. Beat egg yolks.
2. Combine sour cream and soda, stir into egg yolks.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar, stir into sour cream mxture.
4. Add butter, and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer 30 seconds.
5. Beat egg whites ( at room temp) until soft peaks form, fold egg whites into batter.
6. For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter onto a hot, lightly greased griddle.
7. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges looked cooked.
