Serve this delicious garlicky sour cream dill sauce over cold poached or grilled salmon or at room temperature over warm grilled salmon. It's originally from a July 1981 issue of Bon Appetit in the RSVP section. It was requested from the Host International Restaurant in the theme building of Los Angeles International Airport and was developed by chef Leo Stronk.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups mayonnaise (may use light)
1 cup sour cream (may use light)
3 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
3 tablespoons finely chopped onions
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh ground pepper
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in processor or blender and mix well. Chill several hours before serving.
