Sour Cream Coffee Cake

For the topping use 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 cup chopped pecans or coconut
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream butter, add sugar gradually, beating until very light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
3. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Add flour, sifted with baking powder and salt.
4. Combine topping ingredients separately.
5. Pour about 1/3 of the batter into a well-greased, floured bundt pan or a 9 tube pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 of the topping mixture. Spoon in remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining topping.
6. Bake about one hour.
