Dot the batter with jam for a fruity surprise in each slice.
Ingredients:
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter,softened
1-3/4 c sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 c sour cream
3 tbs jam 9optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously butter a 9 bundt pan;dust with flour. Whisk flour,baking powder and salt.
2. Beat the butter and sugar till creamy. One by one,beat in eggs,vanilla and sour cream. Gently mix in the flour. Spoon 1/3 of the batter into the pan,dot withjam,if desired,and top with remaining batter.
3. Bake 60 to 70 mins. Cool for about 5 mins.,unmold onto a rack and cool completely.
