Sopa De Flan ---- Custard Soup

Ingredients:
3- eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 -teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
dash of nutmeg
2- tablespoon butter
2- tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-103/4 ounce can of chicken broth
3/4 - cup water
1/2- cup whipping cream
salt and pepper again to taste
Directions:
1. beat eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
2. pour into a butterrede 8x8x2 inch loaf pan.
3. set pan in a larger shallow pan on the oven rack.
4. pour hot water around the loaf pan to depth of 1 inch.
5. bake in 325 f. degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
6. chill; then cute custard into small cubes..............
7. meanwhile , melt butter , stir in flour.
8. add condensed chicken broth and water all at once;
9. cook and stir untill thickened and bubbly.
10. stir in cream, gently stir in cubed custard.
11. heat through.
12. season to taste with additional salt and pepper
13. makes 4 servings ......... and .enjoy this light delicious soup....
