Snow Pea And Red Pepper Salad

This is a salad I obtained from a bunko teammate. She serves the most impressive dinners when we go to her hosue for girls night out. This is one of her trademarks and we love it. Hope you do as well.
Ingredients:
1-1/2 pounds snow peas
1 pound fresh mushrooms
2 red bell peppers
3 cloves garlic finely chopped
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/3cup toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions:
1. Remove strings and tops from snow peas then blanch for 1 minute in boiling water.
2. Drain immediately and plunge into ice water to make them crisp then drain again and dry.
3. Slice mushrooms then dice peppers into small pieces.
4. Combine garlic, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper.
5. While beating by hand or in processor add oil slowly in stream.
6. Toss vegetables together then just before serving toss in sesame seeds, dressing and vegetables.
