Smoky Mountain Snowcaps

  1. Melt white chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until chocolate is smooth
  2. Beat butter and 1 cup of sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer 5 minutes or until fluffy
  3. Add eggs 1 at a time , beating until well blended after each addition
  4. Add vanilla, beating well
  5. Add melted chocolate and beat 30 seconds...............
  6. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients
  7. Add to butter mixture, beating until blended
  8. Stir in walnuts
  9. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto a lightly greased baking sheets
  10. Bake at 350 degrees f....... for 10 - to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned
  11. Remove to wire racks to cool completely
  12. Sprinkle with powdered sugar
  13. You can freeze up to one month in a airtight container if desired
