Smoky Ham and Navy Bean Stew

My DS loves this soup it is his favorite. Very smoky flavor, yum. Its also nice in the crock pot.
Ingredients:
1 lb cooked ham, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 cups water
1 cup dried navy beans
1 cup celery, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
2 medium carrots, sliced
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except parsley, in crock pot.
2. Mix well and cover.
3. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
4. Just before serving stir in parsley.
