Smoky Beer Chicken Balls

Very crisp and tasty main dish or they would also make a nice entree with sweet chilli sauce for dipping.
Ingredients:
300 g chicken breasts, cubed
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup beer
3/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
oil, to deep fry
Directions:
1. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a wok or fry pan and cook chicken until lightly browned and cooked through.
2. Combine beer, flour, egg, liquid smoke, baking powder and pepper in a small bowl and mix well.
3. Dip chicken pieces in batter mix and deep fry in hot oil a few at a time until light brown and crispy.
