Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

I've used this sauce with spaghetti,lasagna,pizza...you name it.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 pound sweet or hot italian sausage-casing removed
4 14 1/2oz cans diced tomatoes
6 6oz cans tomato paste
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon mrs. dash seasoning
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried basil(or 2 tablespoons fresh)
2 teaspoons dried parsley(or 2 tablespoons fresh)
2 teaspoons dried oregano(or 2 tablespoons fresh)
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt.
1 bay leaf
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and sausage until no longer pink.
2. Drain and transfer to a 4 quart or larger slow cooker(crock pot).
3. Stir in tomatoes,tomato paste,broth,brown sugar and seasonings. Mix well.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
5. Discard bay leaf.
6. Serve over hot spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
