I was looking for a pulled pork recipe that was not bbq based and couldnt find one for a slow cooker. So I made one up and it was very good.
Ingredients:
4-6 lb pork shoulder roast
1/2 cup cidar vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tsp garlic or garlic powder
1 onion chopped coursely
2 tbs paprika
2 tsp red cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp salt
Directions:
1. Cut excess fat off of roast. Cut into two pieces. Pour mixture above and cook on low, longer the better.
2. When done remove roast and shred with fork removing any fat left.
3. Return to crockpot and serve with kaiser rolls, provolone and pepper rings.
