A great way to make lamb!
Ingredients:
1 lb lean boneless lamb
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 medium turnips, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 medium carrots, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 medium onions, cut into wedges
1/4 cup quick-cooking tapioca
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
3 cups beef broth
Directions:
1. Cut the lamb into bite size cubes and brown it in the oil in a large skillet. Drain off the fat.
2. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker/crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.
