Ok, this recipe really just came to me. I have looked up meatball recipes online but then just remembered the ingredients then added my own flair to it. I chose to slow cook them as well. Why do I like it? I like me some spaghetti and wanted something a bit different. Special notes: HELLO, this is a meal done in crockpot. I'll sugguest meats be defrosted before the morning of the day you're have the meal.
Ingredients:
2 lbs hamburger
2 lbs hot italian sausages
1 cup progresso italian-style fine bread crumbs
1 large onion
2 (8 ounce) cans olives
2 (8 ounce) cans green olives
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
2 (8 ounce) cans mixed mushrooms
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
2 eggs
1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
1/2 cup cooking wine
24 ounces your favorite sauce
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine Hamburger, Sausage, Minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Onion, egg, and Italian seasonings with hands. Yes eww, but this is meatballs how you think you're making meatballs without using hands LOL Form meat mixture into meatballs, and ether pan fry, or deep fry until nicely brown, and drain on paper towel. Put meatballs, spaghetti sauce, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, and cooking wine in crock pot turned on low, and let cook a good 8 to 9 hours stir it once in a while during the day.
