This is a simple alternative (and a lot less salt) than the traditional Manwich recipe.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck
1 onion
1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
1 (15 ounce) can low salt tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon steak sauce (a-1)
hot sauce (i use texas pete)
Directions:
1. Brown garlic, pepper, and onion. Add ground chuck and brown. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
2. Serve on buns or roll in tortilla.
