Simple Rice Pudding

Rice pudding my mom makes - no eggs involved!
Ingredients:
2/3 cup white rice
4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
cinnamon
sugar (or honey if desired)
raisins
Directions:
1. Put rice, milk and cinnamon on pan. Mix sugar and milk till milk tastes sweet (or more if desired!). Add to pan/pot with rice and cinnamon as you want it.
2. Stir for 10 minutes, bringing to just a boil.
3. Add raisins, then lower heat.
4. Let simmer 1 hour.
