Simple Pecan Pie

Simple is best. The slow cooking time makes the most wonderful pecan pie.
Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecans, chopped or 1 cup pecan halves
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Prepare pie crust; set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs.
4. Gradually beat in sugar, until light.
5. Add corn syrup, butter, and vanilla extract.
6. Fold in pecans.
7. Pour mixture into pie crust.
8. Bake 45 to 60 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
