Quick, simple, health, and yummy! This was a very impromptu recipe. So I didn't measure anything, not that there's alot to measure. What I love about this recipe is that you can eat as much as you want and the portobello taste just like steak! You can make this in under 10 minutes. This is my first recipe post, so be gentle.
Ingredients:
1 portobello mushroom
seasoning salt (to taste, as much or little as you like)
broccoli floret (about a handful)
salt (to taste)
kraft fancy shredded american and cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Portobello: Turn on the stove to medium. Then spray cooking spray on cooking pan.
2. When pan is warmed up put the portobello mushroom into pan and add some seasoning salt. Let it cook for a few minutes with cover.
3. When mushroom slightly softened flip it, add a sprinkling of seasoning salt and let it cook for a few more minutes with cover. When complete it is softened it is done. This will be done in no time so keep an eye on it.
4. Broccoli: Get a microwavable bowl add broccoli. Then add some water, but only enough to rinse them. Do not drain. Cover the bowl tightly, either with a lid or with microwave-safe plastic wrap. I use a ziplock bag with some holes poked in it.
5. Put it in the microwave for about 3 minutes (depends on your microwave). You'll know when it is done when the broccoli is bright green. Careful when removing from microwave.
6. Now drain broccoli, add the cheese and a dash of salt. And your side is done!
7. Enjoy!
