Here are four glazes for whole hams to choose from for your Easter dinner - ENJOY!!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apricot jam
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 -3 tablespoon horseradish
1 cup red currant jelly
Directions:
1. MAPLE-GINGER GLAZE:.
2. Combine maple syrup, flour, Dijon, lemon and ground ginger. Spoon glaze over ham during the last 15 -30 minutes of cooking.
3. HONEY-ORANGE GLAZE:.
4. Mix honey,and orange juice with brown sugar. Spoon glaze over ham during the last 15-30 minutes of cooking.
5. PINEAPPLE-APRICOT GLAZE:.
6. Combine apricot jam and pineapple juice with brown sugar. Spoon glaze over ham in the last 15-30 minutes of cooking.
7. RED CURRANT GLAZE:.
8. Stir dry mustard and horseradish into red currant jelly. Spoon jelly mixture over ham in the last 15-30 minutes of cooking .
