Simple Cucumber Salad

What makes this special is the black vinegar. If you can't get any, use regular rice vinegar, but if you can find black. GET IT. It's like the difference between Italian and Spanish olive oils. Subtle and amazing. From Hot, Sour, Salty, Sweet.
Ingredients:
1 cucumber
2 tablespoons black vinegar
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1/8 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon minced ginger
Directions:
1. Cut strips off the peel, so that it is striped. Fancy! Pretty food is good food. Cut the cucumber lengthwise into fourths. Seed and slice into 1 inch lengths.
2. Mix both vinegars. Add sugar and salt to taste. Pour over the cucumber.
3. Mound the cucumber on a plate. Top with ginger.
4. note: If you double the recipe, double the cucumber and add only another half recipe of the dressing.
