Simple Cowboy Chili

Quick and Easy Chili. Can be used as a starting point for something more elaborate
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 tablespoon ancho chili power (optional)
2 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
15 oz can of kidney beans
2 pounds ground beef (or any beef cut into 1/4 cubes)
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
2 cups water
Directions:
1. Mix chili powder(s), paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and flour together in a small bowl. Brown meat over medium-high heat in a 6-quart pot . Add spice mixture and stir well. Add beans and tomato sauce and then water gradually and stir well. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes.
