A new take on Alfredo! Yummy! Great and easy for company or to treat your family! Ready in 1/2 hour - Serves 4-6. Six ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) jar alfredo sauce (i like bertoli)
1 lemon
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2-1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sherry wine (optional)
1 lb shrimp, 21 - 25 size. raw and shelled
Directions:
1. Mix the juice from 1 lemon with the next 3 ingredients. Pour over the.
2. raw shelled shrimp and marinate for 1/2 hour.
3. In the meantime heat up the Alfredo sauce and keep warm.
4. Heat a frypan to medium-high and add the shrimp and the marinade.
5. Reduce heat to med-low and cook for 4 minutes (flipping over shrimp halfway).
6. Pour the contents into the alfredo sauce, mix, and serve with pasta or rice.
