Crockpot recipe. Sodium in this calculated really high. Use low salt tomatoes if you want to lower the salt content.
Ingredients:
14 ounces diced tomatoes with italian herbs, undrained
6 ounces tomato paste
1/2 cup water
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons parsley, fresh, minced
1 teaspoon salt, optional
1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
16 ounces shrimp, cooked, peeled, deveined
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine the first eight ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours.
2. Stir in shrimp. Cover and cook 20 minutes longer or just until shrimp are heated through. Serve over spaghetti. Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.
