1. Cook the fettucine. Drain 2. Saute shallot in butter (oleo) in a large fry pan. Add the shrimp. 3. Set the shrimp aside. 4. Put the noodles in the frying pan. Grate the cheese over the noodles. 5. Slowly add half and half until you get a pleasing consistency. 6. Add the shrimp back in. 7. I like it with grated black pepper. 8. Serve with a salad
