Directions:

  1. Sprinkle the spices over the rice while it is still steaming, so they will mix in (if the rice was cold, then heat it with the spices plus a tablespoon of water in the microwave for a minute). Mix in the steamed peas, shrimp, and beans (warm them separately or all together). This is sort of a fake paella and is good on the fiber side if not as good on sodium.
