Ingredients:
2/3 cup water
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup medium-dry sherry
Directions:
1. Bring all ingredients to a boil in a small heavy saucepan, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Cool completely.
2. CooksÂ’ note: Syrup can be made 5 days ahead and chilled.
