Sheila's Orange Sauce

This is a nice sauce to serve with roast pork....a change from applesauce. It's on an old food covered recipe card.....no idea where it came from.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
12 cloves
1 cup orange juice (reconstituted)
Directions:
1. Combine all and cook until thick and clear.
2. Remove cloves and serve.
3. Cooking time is approximate.
