Ingredients:
8 cups beef broth
750 grams cabbage
2 cups onion
4 garlic cloves
3/4 cup carrot
200 grams potato
1 teaspoon caraway seed
5 grams bay leaf
10 black peppercorns
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Directions:
1. Bring the beef broth to a boil
2. Core and shred the cabbage
3. Chop the onion and garlic
4. Shred the carrot
5. Thickly slice the potato
6. Add all the vegetables to the boiling stock and simmer for 15 minutes
7. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for another 10 minutes
8. Remove the bay leaf, add salt and pepper to taste.
9. May be served with sour cream and chopped parsley garnish
