Only the good stuff comes from our neck of the wood, and man oh man if you moved from new zealand and miss the good old sausage rolls from the dairy then make these and you will be in seventh heaven Ingredients:
1 lb sausage meat |
1 apple, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
4 tablespoons parsley |
1 1/2 cups cooked rice |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 (375 g) packet flaky pastry dough or 1 (375 g) packet phyllo pastry |
Directions:
1. Mix all 1st ingredients.
2. add pepper to taste.
3. roll into two rolls and cover with.
4. 1 packet flaky pastry or wrap on filo pastry.
5. cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
