Sesame Potatoes With French Beans

A quick and easy side dish.Part of everyday meal,nothing fancy,without too much of oil,masalas or spices. tastes good with rotis as well as with steaming hot rice and dal
Ingredients:
french beans-200gms,steamed & chopped
potatoes-4,small to medium,boiled & cubed into medium size
white sesame seeds-1-1/2tsp
cumin seeds-1tsp
spring onions chopped fine-1-1/2cups
tomato chopped-1
red chilli powder-1/2tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
oil-1tbsp
salt to taste
Directions:
1. 1.Heat oil in a skillet,add the cumin seeds &sesame seeds(be careful,the sesame seeds will splutter and pop)
2. 2.Add the spring onions and french beans,saute for 2-3 mins
3. 3.Now add the potatoes and saute till its well covered with the above ingredients
4. 4.When the potatoes are fried a little add in the tomatoes+red chilli powder+salt mix well & cover and cook over low heat for 15mins.
5. 5.Serve hot with rotis or with steamed rice and dal(yellow lentils)
