Sesame Oyster Sauce Pak Choi

Pak Choi can be found in most supermarkets. However, feel free to use any other Chinese leaf vegetable. Alternatively use broccoli or sprouting Broccoli if you can find it.
Ingredients:
300g pak choi
2 cloves fresh garlic
4 tbsp peanut oil
quality oyster sauce
sesame oil
Directions:
1. Chop garlic and fry in peanut oil until golden. Remove from heat before it becomes too dark as garlic will continue to cook. Spoon into a small bowl and keep aside until pak choi is cooked.
2. Wash pak choi, then cut in half down the centre ensuring core is intact.
3. Place pak choi on a plate and steam in bamboo steamer until stems are just cooked.
4. Drizzle oyster sauce over pak choi, then crispy garlic and sesame oil.
5. Serve immediately.
