Sesame Chicken

I serve the chicken with or over rice and add some stir-fried vegetables on the side.
Ingredients:
4 seven-eight ounce chicken breasts, lightly pounded
1 1/2 cups + 1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger
2 1/4 teaspoons fresh minced garlic
1/2 cup + 3 1/2 teaspoons white wine
1 cup + 3 tablespoons sugar
toasted sesame seeds for garnish (see note above)
green onions cut on the bias for garnish
Directions:
1. Combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, wine and sugar in a mixing bowl and blend thoroughly
2. Place the lightly pounded chicken breasts and the mixture (the marinade) in a large resealable plastic bag or a low baking dish (make certain all the chicken is covered or surrrounded with the marinade)
3. Place in the refrigerator and marinade for 4 hours before using
4. Remove chicken from the marinade and (1) place on your grill - medium heat or (2) 5-6 inches under your broiler on a sheet pan or in a shallow baking dish or (3) oven bake the chicken at 350 degrees F (be careful NOT to have the heat turned up too high or the sugar may burn)
5. Remove the chicken from the heat and thin slice on the bias
6. Arrange the chicken on a serving platter, pour the juices over the chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions (or top a salad with the sliced chicken after topping with juices and seeds)
