Seared Sea Scallops

Ingredients:
1 lb sea scallops, rinsed and pat dry
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
2. Salt and pepper both sides of the scallops and place them in the pan. Whatever you do, do not move the scallops at all until ready to flip.
3. Sear the scallops on each side for 1.5 minutes, then remove from the pan and serve.
