Wiener Schnitzel is Veal, Swine Schnitzel is Pork Tenderloin and Jager Schnitzel refers to the gravy on the schnitzel. Most Germans eat Swine Schnitzel. Ask your butcher for Pork Tenderloin for schnitzel, and most times they know to cut it thin.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
4 eggs, scrambled
breadcrumbs (wal mart has them)
7 -8 pieces pork tenderloin
butter
Directions:
1. If the tenderloin isn't thin, use a mallet and thin it your self. Take three containers such as pie tins, and put the flour in one, the eggs in one and the bread crumbs in one. Then take a piece of meat, flour it both sides, egg wash it both sides and then bread crumb it both sides. Then, after your stick of butter has melted in the skillet, add the meat and cook until golden brown on both sides If your making a lot, after the 7 or 8 pieces, the skillet needs to be wiped out and another stick of butter added.
